Emperor 1 is very similar to 'Bloodgood' in growth habit, although it holds its red color better through hot summer months, and has a brilliant crimson fall display. A very nice ornamental tree that only grows to 20 feet tall and 15 feet wide. Low maintenance and resistant to most pests and diseases. Cold hardy to zone 6.
